Training Session FAQ

How do I register for a training session?

  • Simply fill in an on-line registration form. Links to the registration form can be found on the information page for the session.
  • You can register more than one person by providing your details, the number of people you want to register (including yourself) and their names. The person named on the registration will be our contact for any further correspondence.
  • If you are registering on behalf of a person or group, but will not be attending the training - tick "NOT attending" on the registration form.
  • A confirmation of registration and invoice will be emailed to the address you provided on your registration form.

How can I let you know if I have special learning needs?

  • If you have special learning needs (such as hearing impairment, dyslexia, or literacy difficulties) you can either phone our office to let us know, or talk to the trainer in person before the session.
  • The trainer will make reasonable adjustments to the training to accommodate your needs.
  • If special arrangements are needed (large print, for example) then please let us know of your needs at least 2 working days before the training session.
  • We do not keep health or sensitive personal information after the training session, unless you explicitly give us permission to do so.

What happens to my personal information?

Will this training session be run again?

  • If a session is on a date that you can't attend, let us know - we can keep your details on a waiting list for that session and let you know when it is to be run again.
  • If you are unable to register because a session is full, we can keep your details on a waiting list for that session and let you know when it is to be run again.
  • Upcoming sessions are listed on the home page of this website.

What methods of payment do you accept?

  • You can pay by direct deposit or cheque. Details will be provided with the invoice.
  • Invoice terms are 30 days. However, payment before the training day will secure your booking.
  • Post training payment is availabe for organisations with an ABN or ACN, but early paying customers will receive preference when a training session is full.
  • Direct payment is not yet possible but should be coming soon.

Will food be provided?

  • Lunch will be provided for full day training sessions.
  • A tea/coffee and a light refershment is served for half day sessions.
  • Your registration form enables you to let us know of any dietary requirements. Although we will do our best to cater for your requirements, as we use different venues, we cannot guarrantee these will be met.

Is the venue accessible?

  • We endeavour to only use accessible venues.

Is parking available?

  • The session information page includes parking availability.
  • We will also include parking information as part of your confirmation of registration.

Can I get there on public transport?

  • We try to use venues that are close to public transport links.
  • The session information page includes a link to Google Maps, which shows the venue and surrounding public transport stops.

Will I get a certificate?

  • A certificate is provided on the day, at the end of the training session.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

  • Cancellations received up to 5 working days before the training session are fully refundable.
  • Cancellations received less than 5 working days before the training session will incur the full course fee.
  • Non attendance without cancellation will incur the full course fee.

What happens if JBTC has to cancel a training session?

  • If we have to cancel a training session, we will inform you as soon as we can.
  • Where cancellation is 2 days or more before the day of the session, we will email you at the address you provided on your registration.
  • If less than 2 days, we will call the phone number you provided on your registration.
  • For group registrations, the person whose details appear on the registration form is responsible for informing the rest of the group.
  • Where Jenny Bray Training & Consulting cancels the training session, a full refund will be given or arrangements for you to attend a later session will be made.
  • We can also put your name on a waiting list and contact you when this session is to be run again.

How long will it take to get a refund?

  • We process the refund as quickly as possible.
  • Refunds are generally complete within 30 days.
