Inclusion Awareness - Building participation and inclusion with people with a disability

Inclusion happens when each person, (irrespective of age or disability) can access and participate fully in all aspects of an activity, service or community life in the same way as any other member of the community.

The course is specifically designed for agencies required to develop Disability Inclusion Action Plans, and for services supporting people with disability and local communities, to enhance participation and inclusion.

The course aims to create a solid understanding of Inclusion and to develop skills and strategies to achieve in. The course will assist services to meet NSW Disability Service Standards 2 and 3 (Participation and Inclusion; and Individual Outcomes), and assist agencies to align their Disability Inclusion Action Plans to the NSW Disability Inclusion Plan.
