Consumer Directed Care Packages - for case managers and coordinators - course details

Consumer Directed Care Packages deliver what a person wants rather than what we or others think they may need. It's all about providing the service user with 'Choice and Control' within the requirements of CDC Guidelines. What does this mean in practice for staff developing care plans in partnership with service users? And what changes might an organisation need to make in order to support these changes? This course explores the assessment / negotiation /planning stages of service delivery. Practical in approach, it combines techniques and tools that are proven to work.
